Job responsibilities

• Take part in all database procedures, including upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Assist in designing and coding basic-level systems, programs, and interfaces
• Ensure database performance, security, and availability

• Develop data migration procedures and define data Integration/migration needs
• Collaborate and create robust ETL architecture design, load strategies, and ETL mapping documentation
• Write and execute unit test plans and keep track of any processing issues

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience in database development or database administration (rare exceptions for exceptionally skilled developers)
• Prolific knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL programming and ETL (Microsoft SSIS) tools

• Extensive working experience with Microsoft SQL server
• Solid understanding of the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
• Stronghold on Data Marts, Operational Data Store (ODS), OLAP, Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema Modeling, and Snow-Flake Modeling
• Hands-on experience in generating SQL queries from given structure and Syntax, as well as addressing complex database queries
• Fluency in English for effective communication
• Availability to work with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of popular cloud computing services like AWS, GCP, etc.
• Familiar with multiple programming languages like Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
• Highly efficient in generating, debugging, and executing stored procedures
